Athena 15373-4 Micra 6 Speaker System, Black/Chrome Review

All the reviews I read were right on, these speakers do just fine as an entry level surround system for dvds/movies but aren't as good for music cds. Don't get me wrong for the price I don't think you can beat it. I have these speakers set in a 20x15 room, powered by sony surround receiver. System works and sounds great. Speakers are easy to mount to the wall or where ever you want. Athena makes some stands for the speakers but the wife didn't like them so they're gone but speakers are small enough to go anywhere. So far my only negative comment would be that at times dialog sounds faint like it's coming from inside a box. This might be my fault since the TV we have does not have a large enough and flat top to place the center speaker so I mounted it slightly behind and above the TV.

This will not translate a typed sentance to a spoken translation.
It will translate a typed sentance to a displayed translation.
This product will only voice translate factory programed phrases.
Awkward to switch back and forth between the host language and foreign language.
Very very very slow when translating a selected word to speaking the foreign word.
Very very very long pauses between words when voice translating the pre-programed phrase's
Speaker has very low volume...... even on max setting.
This product needs a lot of upgrade's to make it a valuable tool.
That being said it is the only portable product on the market at this time that will translate a typed sentance to a displayed foreign translation.

Do NOT buy these I bought 2 and I have had so many problems with them it is unbelievable. You would think that for the price Denon would make a great DVD player. I have the same problems the person that replaced the logic board had on both of my players. These skip scenes, lock up, go to blue screens, stop playing the DVD for no reason etc etc. Lock up so the only way to fix it is to completely unplug the unit. I have had both in the repair shop so many times I have a 3 inch folder with repair invoices. I have own them for 2 years now and have only played 15 DVD movies completely. Since they lock up so much I never make it through the movie. I have given up on them. Denon is no help refuse to repair etc. BTW, a friend bought their Blu-Ray version and after 6 months he is having the same problems. I wish I would have had the chance to talk in out of it.
