The iA92 is a dual alarm clock radio for iPhone and iPod that lets you charge your iPhone or iPod and lets you wake and sleep to either one, to a custom playlist, or to AM/FM radio. A time sync button syncs the clock to your iPhone (which is always current via cell phone towers) to set the time quickly. The iA92 allows you to set two separate alarms with different times on different days with our 7-5-2 feature. The iA92 also includes 12 AM/FM presets, EQ controls and 3D sound and Reson8® sound technology for an exceptional audio experience.

This iHome Stereo Speaker Clock Radio dock for iPhone and iPod touch is an attractive option among the numerous myriad of iPhone/iPod docks that are currently available on the market. I really like the modern, simple, and understated design. It looks very nice with its large illuminated LED screen. The piano black glossy finish is nice too. One of the things that I feel that is the most important when choosing a speaker dock of any kind is the quality of the sound. With that said, this is one of the better sounding speaker docks out there. The sound on this thing is pretty crisp and it can get pretty loud... loud enough to fill a medium sized room. The integrated subwoofer/resonance chamber does an admirable job of producing low end bass that doesn't distort too much and muddy the music. There's also a pseudo surround sound mode called "3D sound" mode that kicks up the high end and replicates a surround sound experience. It makes the music sound more "airy" as if it were live music. In addition to these options, there are also manual options to adjust the treble, bass, balance/fader, and the volume levels to your liking. Other features I liked is the ability to hook up other audio sources using the auxiliary input jack port and the auto time/sync which automatically sets the time to whatever the time on your ipod or iphone is. I should mention that the auxiliary audio cable which you'd need to use the auxiliary input is not included though. These are readily available in any online or brick and mortar electronics department/retail store for about $10 to $20. The included small remote control is very nice and works really well too. It's about the size of a small credit card and is super thin. It definitely adds to the convenience of use for things like skipping songs and adjusting volume! About the only thing I didn't like about this speaker dock is the optional free app that is made for it. When I installed it on my ipod touch, it kept getting stuck in a loading screen and didn't seem to be programmed well. I'm glad that it is optional though. Pros:
-Well-built and attractive design with easy to read LED illuminated numbers (time and date!)
-Very good sounding speakers with well-rounded dynamic sound with customizable sound equalizer options.
-Thin and useful remote
-Automate time/date syncing with device is a nice touch
-different dock adapters to fit many Apple devices like iPod touch, iPhone, Nano etc.
-Charges your Apple device when it's one the dock (most docks do this, but I still thought you'd like to know)
-Auxiliary input port allows you to play music from other sources through your speaker dock... for example an Android phone.
-Included external Radio Antenna assures that you get good radio signal from AM/FM radio functions.

Cons:
-No included Auxiliary audio cable included
-Optional iPhone/Ipod App didn't seem to work very well for me.

Conclusion:
This is an excellent Speaker dock for the Apple iPhone/Ipod. The sound quality is above that of most of the other docks available. It has a very nice build quality and an attractive modern design. My list of "cons" were very trivial and it didn't even factor into the star rating of this product. I didn't give this product 5 Stars because the sound quality was not the best that I have heard in a sound dock. With that said, the sound quality of this still blows most of the other sound docks out of the water. If you are considering getting a nice sounding sound dock, I would seriously consider this model because it does have a lot to offer. I would recommend going to a store electronics showroom to actually hear this thing before you buy it.
