The canon black cartridge installed and worked perfectly. The box came with clear labels and instructions to ship back and recycle the old cartridge. Kudos to Canon and other makers for this program. I downgraded the rating due to the way excessive cost of the cartridge compared to printer cost! Obviously they're completely profiting on the consumable printer items to the hilt! I'm OK on profits, just balance the costs a bit and charge more for the printer... I'd give it 4.25 stars.
