This Cool-Copy unit works great ! Although the instructions with it are minimal, after some on-line research, I found out the this unit does not work well with Memorex brand DVDs. it would only partially burn or not at all. After I switched to the Verbatim brand, It works perfectly ! Also, my unit did NOT come with " Lightscribe" capabilities as described by ad. This no longer matters to me since the cost of buying blank Lightscribe dvds is so high. I'll just continue to use stick-on labels. But the unit does what I want it do--copy tv shows that I had previously recorded onto my DVR,I then record them on my onto my existing DVD recorder, then with the Cool-Copy, I can make as many duplicates as I want and give to friends. I bought this for under $50.00--what a deal !
Use only Verbatim, Sony, TDK or JVC bland DVDs to record on and copy on. Avoid Memorex brand or it just won't work.
