Audio Technica Artist Series Cardioid Condenser Headworn Microphone Review

I've used this mic for maybe 50 shows. I play bass, sing, and like to run and jump around quite a bit on stage. (Considered going wireless, but dealing with wireless guitar thing PLUS wireless vocal thing seems too much until maybe someday I get a roadie and sound-man.) So I banded together my guitar cord and microphone cord which attaches to this mic, and can move quite a bit!

The headset is pretty comfortable and the mic can be positioned on either side of your face. It's pretty decent sounding, being a condenser, and has an on/off switch, which I found most headset mics don't have. It either uses a double A battery or phantom power.

Lately I've been looking to upgrade to a higher quality microphone but am now reconsidering, as most other headsets I've tried on were either cumbersome, uncomfortable, or would not stay on if I moved too much. Then I was thinking of replacing my ATM75, which is at least 8 years old, with a brand new one but the model number's the same, so I may just hang on to my oldie but goodie. The only thing that needs replacing is the little foam windscreen that fits on mic.
