The LA145 is basically the replacement for the KL145L The RM LA-145 is a wideband compact FM/SSB amplifier for the VHF band; covering from 135-175Mhz. Output is nominal at full power (85w max) Input drive is from 0.5w to a maximum of 4w, ideally suited to low power handheld transceivers. Output power depends both on input power and frequency of use.

I have bought a number of products from DNJ Radio and found them to be honest to a fault. I have several RM Italy VHF mobile amps, including the new LA145 received this week. On a dummy load at 146 MHz driven with 4 watts the amp output is 75 watts. This seems to be an improved replacement for the KL145, which I have one of as well. I also have a LA144 model in my QRP pack for use with a FT817ND radio.

I've had and tested numerous RM Italy amps. I believe my experience with RM Italy and DNJ Radio is extensive.

You can tell the quality of a vendor by the service rendered when there is a product issue. Frank at DNJ Radio is the perfect seller. I have dealt with him on HAM gear for a year. I had some issues with prior revisions of RM Italy amps and can't compliment Frank enough for how well he treated me and took care of any issues to my complete satisfaction.

My RM Italy LA144 has performed flawlessly and I expect the new LA145 to work just as well. You can buy with confidence from DNJ Radio, with no worries.
